I'm making this blog mainly as a fund raiser for college. I've just been accepted by Colby College in Maine USA, but they are only offering a USD$27,340 per year financial aid to me. Total tuition fee is USD$52,340 per year, so pretty much I have to come up with $25,000 a year towards my undergraduate education for the next 4 years. My parents are willing to put forward $10,000 a year, so the next $15,000 will be up to me.
FYI, I applied as an international student from New Zealand with a 2230 SAT I, and 2300 combined SAT II (Maths 2 790, Physics 760, English Literature 750). Very good ECs, and 5 recommendations from teachers/employers/school counsellor.
My themes/skins have been downloaded thousands of times on the internet, and everything has been 100% free. But if even half of those people could donate $5 per download, price of a cup of coffee, I would have a big chunk taken out of my college fees.
